Fashion was pretty darn important back in the day. No wonder she was hearing rumours of her bankruptcy: she was wearing out of fashion, openly modified clothing!

Fun fact: clothing was custom-made, and designed to be easily modified when necessary. Ie: changing weights, passing down to siblings, etc.
