Kirie is really full of herself. Lynn should be able to do all the training and has to take lessons on things doesn't understand but has to endure just because she's a hero. That's completely overlooking her desires, choices, abilities, personality, and all just because she got the job hero. The king probably just sees her as war potential to be sent out on his whims and expects her to obey because it's expected of a hero. Although after reading that letter she's probably going to charge ahead in the afternoon training and either give Kirie a run for her money or get led by the nose.
