The Weakest Occupation "Blacksmith," but It's Actually the Strongest - Vol. 1 Ch. 9 - Attack

... Didn't blue stone monsters only appear on the other continent in the LN? Wtf is going on.

That wasn't a chapter, lol. That was a .5 teaser.
I've seen chapters broken into three and four parts with longer pieces than this.

Ah yes, now everytime my repairman gets fucking late, I will always imagine that he has to fight a pack of wolves out of knowhere

Hope this'll be the part where he shows off his strength to some extent so he'll get to stay around the heroine. This story was one of the first times a hero story genuinely gave me a sick feeling to the stomach from the hero being forced away from their normal life by government pressure rather than a proper call to action and intrinsic, personal motivation. So I hope we'll at least be spared from the usual "You're not worthy of the hero(ine)!" political marriage nonsense.

What an useless chapter.

So they rode a carraige and got atacked by wolves. The end.

Oh, hey, cool, something is happening.... wait, that's it? Ok then..

Yeah... Stories like this can't be done in <10 page increments. That only really works for SoL/comedy stuff, or nonsensical whatever plots. Having it in an isekai that needs lots of character/world building just makes it feel way too dragged out and too slow. Slow burner? More like the fucking flame isn't even on and it's in the freezer.

I missed the dad joke, so here's one (for your enjoyment, read it out loud): how do you get to whales in a car? Start in England and drive west

So did the wolves used long-ranged attacks or simply hid after knocking out the coachman?
It doesn't make sense. Like how the knights are only positioned behind and with no one ahead.

@KazutoKatsuragi This is just a fantasy, not isekai even if it feels like one. Nothing has really happened in the last 3 chapters though, just the hero reading his letter.
