The White Cat's Revenge as Plotted from the Dragon King's Lap - Vol. 3 Ch. 14

the prince is w a a a a a y too dependent on ruri.... i'm worried he'll end up being as bad as Asahi if the story keeps going like it is now, but he'll be excused since he's the ML...

@Wolvenworks This is a shoujo series. It's going to be full of bishounen of every sort. Just like shounen is full of bishoujo. Funnily enough I already commented on your earlier comment on the same subject earlier, many chapters ago. There's no way the prime minister, or any other meaningful dragon person hanging around the king's castle, would be a woman. That's just not how shoujo works. Although rivals of course would be a different thing. Lydia doesn't count because she's a detached character, so it doesn't really matter what she is. However, if she had been a guy, some poor readers would have shipped her with Ruri, so the author wisely made her a woman. I guess fairies are anyway mostly thought of as female.

@Kaarme ah but you see, the fact that Lydia is a woman makes it better. I can imagine it now Lydia slowly approaches Ruri, seductively taking off her clothes. "wha- what are you doing Lydia?" says Ruri frozen by Lydia's magic. Still silent Lydia takes off Ruri's clothes and starts doing ████ and ████████

hmm...i'm beginning to wonder if asahi is actually faking her stupidity and wants ruri around her finger...
