I'm surprised that no one gets why the "bullied" girl is pissed - because the airhead actually does insult her. The others always try to tease her with stuff that can be considered positive (she's pretty good academically) or that are beyond her own power to change (coming from a poor household). However, the airhead points out that she has either the taste of a poor person (because she enjoys the taste of the cheap dish) or that she has to do her best (because she has no safety net and because she has no good upbringing).
