They're supposed to be these all powerful mages who hold a high post in their government and yet they're behaving like children throwing a tantrum, political consequences be damned.
Taking her back makes no sense. One, they'll make enemies out of Hyperion and two, someone is trying to kills her in Arcus. Pretending she is dead makes sense. Announcing her return is like putting a target on her. I just cannot believe it when people in such positions behave like imbeciles.
