In this one though, it's a poor attempt at a 5 o-clock. (Probably 5:55 at best)

On the 100th day the Mouse dies. In my opinion this theory is possible. Croc will "die of sadness" because of his friend. Croc's death will only be an expression. Mouse looks sad, does he know he will die? Killing the Mouse would also be cruelty too.
