@flanman no. mc has another mother that gave birth to him, but wasn't talked about almost at all. the dead mother was his stepmother, but was also fmc's birth mother.

s0che is right. MC caught his stepmom cheating on his father, and MC was in the same car as the stepmom when she died. She died due to the ploy crafted by the ugly fat bastard and the girl who underwent plastic surgery ( the one that has been hooking up with the father of MC). As far as we know...the private security guard of MC's girlfriend "cleaned up" the mess we saw earlier. However, we don't know if the private security guard hooked up with the stepmom's daughter (Seol Yun i think is her name) or asked her to do something entirely different like feeding information to him to prevent MC from getting closer to the girlfriend. Can't even confirm whether the ugly bastard officially died yet. Didn't read the raws, but what we can infer is second stepmom (stepmom's daughter) is probably pregnant or will be.
