oh man. The super serious vibes of 'The World is at War. Nobles are being deposed left and right. A despotic emperor conquers everything before him' jumping to 'Wah, I have to get married *pouting face*' is such a harsh whiplash... There isn't enough here pique interest in the heroine or the world building
