This Is an Obvious Fraudulent Marriage - Ch. 27

thanks for the update! looking forward to the next chapter. im seriously wondering more about kalied's murderous intent and what effects it/causes it.

Thank you for this quality update!
I don't understand Stant's thought process. Does he not understand that she rejected him because they have a close sibling-like relationship? Does he truly believe a high position would help him gain her affections? Or is he just running away from the humiliation and lack of prospects due to the rejection and is trying to justify it in his head with something that sounds less pitiful?

I wonder how old the head maid is. If she's in her late thirties/forties like the timeline would suggest (married off twenty years ago), then damn does she look good. And it's nice to see an older woman/younger man pairing, too.

If he's from a culture where first cousin marriages are acceptable, then her extreme and humiliating rejection of him in front of everyone would be very confusing. Keeping in mind up until that point he thought they were getting along and his parents and her parents approved their match. He ran away to escape and then, thinking she rejected him for some kind of flaw, he tried gaining power to prove he was worthy of her.

MC didn't explain why she rejected him, mostly because she never had a chance to since he ran off right after being humilited. It's why she's tryin to find him now, to explain that she didn't hate him. She just couldn't marry her first cousin. Though finding that out will be equally heartbreaking...

Still waiting for NO QC to continue their releases so I don't have to read Die Like A B**ch's horrible translations :(

I hope No QC would still continue their work, i prefer reading No QC than dlab's work, i know both scanlation teams poured their time and effort in this but no offense i really do prefer no qc's work.

@alee76 In the USA it depends on the state whether it's legal or not. And even in places where it is legal, it's usually culturally frowned upon. I had a friend with a lot of family in one area. If she was interested in a guy and they came from the same town, she'd have to check and make sure they weren't related 😂
