I don't think he even was ever serious about shooting her, the hammer on the 1911 is down, and the safety is still on...

He'd have to undo the safety and rack the slide first (or pull the hammer back if there was already a round in the chamber), then aim and fire. It does look like he is depressing the trigger though. Quite a bit of extra motions to go through if he really was planning on tying up loose ends.

I'd say the authour only has basic knowledge of how guns work and didn't do enough research. The 1911 shown was mirrored with the safety/slide catch on the opposite side.

Once I got past that, I thought the same thing that the author was showing he wasn't going to do anything to her anyways.

I didn't like the gun scene (mostly because it didn't look like flowey boy knew how to use a gun when he's supposed to), but overall this manga is pretty good! So weird, yet so good.

Is it weird that I also find the dissolving corpse satisfying? I've always hated the way they dispose of bodies in action movies. Only Breaking Bad knew to use acid, but boy that cleaning scene was a disaster.
