@zenyo If I remember correctly, most kingdoms had, by our standards, shitty nobles and other high standing people as the majority, although not all of them were obnoxious about it. Back then, everything was about status and pride, and if you were of poor status then you were nothing more than a bug in everyone's eyes no matter how good of a person nor how skilled you might be. Granted, there are still a lot of places and people like that today all over the world, but the value of individuals in developed countries is so much higher than it had been during the medieval ages and prior. Still obnoxiously shitty people everywhere, though. Especially on the internet.
