I am starting to wonder if anyone is going to be able to get any better than a moderately happy ending. So many seem to be locked into a bittersweet ending at best.

I mean, we COULD have a reverse harem ending or a super stack of boyfriend souls once the demonlord gets redivided into all the human parts and the excess magic gets bled off like a lanced boil. Best possible is all the past lives separate out to waltz into the well of souls with their respective heroes, and our girl and Graham get to live happily ever after without all the baggage.

And they adopt that tiny priest girl.

Yeah, it's frustrating because while this high priestess is the closest representative to the one behind all Jun's problems, it's honestly not her fault. She had responsibilities forced on her for no apparent reason not unlike what happened to Jun, and we can't blame her for her ancestor's mistakes.

But... the open questions have been steadily answered in the last few chapters, so I guess it's only natural not to drag this out. That would hurt the story. Even though I say this, I'll be sad when it's over. I'll probably re-read later

I know that a lot of folks are sad that this will be ending, but I'm glad when a story comes to its conclusion. What really gets to me is when a series meanders around trying to reach all story plots and is then cancelled without a proper ending.

@Origami_Delights That if it was magazine. Volume usually move bonus chapter to end of volume. Look at that page, it has credit note of volume Thanks for Buying. This note only happen in early chapter or end of volume. unless this bonus chapter was not from volume version. If you check V3 Index, chapter 17 will directly go to chapter 18. Last chapter after chapter 19 was page 181 " Extra Edition"
