Marquess isn't a word for a female marquis. Both words are the masculine variant, but one spelling tends to be more prominent in certain parts of the world.

A female marquess (or the wife of one) is called a marchioness.

The real reason Caesar doesn't get voted for. This pure naive boy doesn't get it at all. He's lucky he's already married to his crush, because courting her would've been a nightmare.

Is it just me, or is the story kinda blaming Caesar's perfectly reasonable misunderstandings and consequential emotional reactions as "him being dumb"? Because I feel like his moment with Noah and the popularity poll are both justified, with most of the problem being on Canaria's idiocy.
Ah. His denseness is real though, but it's more to her benefit than anything.

I imagine Canaria knows about the Marquis too, though she probably didn't expect him to make whatever move he's making so soon.
