I like this one, after having read so many seeing the bitchy "heroine" get exposed and so quickly is quite satisfying.
Don't think it was too bad of the prince to go along with it, man just wanted to know whether his fiance actually loved him as she never showed him and he saw a chance to figure it out.

No that Prince is shit. Twisted person and awful story. Yea if she was essentially brainwashed since birth to be his wife as her life's purpose then fine. She can be happy with such a sick person, but I don't think this fits right with the genre then. Unless I misunderstood what this anthology was about.

Wow; I'm a sucker for villainess noble girls but this was just bad :'D The prince is a jerk... The storyline was really...annoying X'D

@erichanchan If we have to compare with this one - yes, it's way better, mostly because more chapters to develop the story. But overall from all the other otome they recommend in the end, I believe that it's the weakest.

@FujenRyner It appears these are one shots of Villainess Stories. This chapter the Prince faked the engagement being broken off so he could get the suppose Villainess to confess her true feelings and release the pressure she has been building up. The Prince knew she was innocent and knew that the suppose Villainess loved him and put on an act. Happy ending between Prince and suppose Villainess as the love was always mutual between them. It also seemed at the end that the suppose Heroine knew the story somewhat as she was confused why the villainess didnt bully her and how the prince isnt truly in love with her.

@xakriax Yeah prince was trash in this chapter and I hope the other ones are better. It does fit the anthology just not the best fit.
Prince breaks up with Villainess cause she did something bad to his new girl, classic Villainess trope. Turns out it was all a lie, but then right at the end the suppose Heroine starts shouting as she is being dragged away this wasnt how it was suppose to go. Villainess was suppose to bully her but didnt and the prince was suppose to fall in love with her but also didnt. So it fits tropes but just horribly done to fit tropes.
