This whole series is awesome thank you for taking time to translate them, I really don’t get the prince in the beginning you told that as last act of kindness you would let her break off the engagement herself and you’re in love with that heroine claiming bitch but the next day when she actually breaks off the engagement and get engaged to the emperor you get angry and call her a frivolous cheater, like she took the right procedures and got in a proper relationship with the king’s -your father-approval rather than engaging in and emotional affair and say to your said partner “oh I’m sorry I don’t love you and I didn’t try to talk to you about it oops” and honestly why do they all expect that their fiancée will welcome their cheating with an open minded attitude of course they are gonna bully the mistress in the relationship like get your shit together and talk even if you’re relationship was superficial and there was no love obviously their fiancée would feel humiliated if they cheated and they didn’t talk about it

Haha, actually the execution of the "heroine" has cause behind it. She broke into the residence of a future empress and confronted her with malicious intent and while she never directly harmed her, the event did in fact happen with multiple witnesses. There ain't no getting away with treason of the highest order.

Even if the prince didn't call for it, she'll probably have the king switch his fiancee anyway, but him doing this just give her opportunity to answer the Emperor's feelings earlier.
