You mean the guy who's probably her dad? His mysterious lover that "died" is only presumed dead because she was swept away by a river or something. That person's silhouette was a dead ringer for the queen, who we continually saw without all her details for some time. Pei reminded him an awful lot of this woman, though he insisted the woman was much better looking. Pei seems to have inherited blood from that man's country, because she apparently houses the power of one of their more or less forgotten gods.

I like the sound of the 2nd male lead getting the girl ^^. On the other hand, I wish for Queen Maya happiness. Both her partners came to fail her hopes and aspiration to build a family. The 1st is a supposed enemy kindom's Prince /Lord while the 2nd left her for a throne.
