To Your Eternity - Vol. 11 Ch. 104 - This

I think I'm starting to get lost on some of the finer details here, and it's not even full-on politics yet.

This arc is quite confusing and it makes the author looks having no idea on what to write about this story.

Is it really that confushing? They're just slowly spiraling down to the conclusion of how Fushi will continue to play human with the powers to revive anything he's rubbed on himself while it's raining braintentaclezombies.

@Kryon_PL

Most stories look confusing when released incrementally with very few pages. I'm sure that when the arc is over and if you reread the entire arc in one go it'll make a ton of sense.

When will March see Fushi or vice-versa? I've been holding on to these chapters with anticipation, but it's been many chapters now.
Only Fushi's Mama can set straighten him up now.

Guys, just because YOU got confused and lost on the plot doesn't automatically mean the author suddenly lost the ability to write.

Man I still haven't decided whether or not I like Kahak, but I'm glad someone's telling Bon off

He's been overstepping and manipulating Fushi for a while now.

I don't think the arc is confusing. It can feel aimless but that's mostly on purpose, as Fuchi is growing increasingly disconnected from reality.

brother and sister ?
oh boy

why are we spending more time with a random castle than with the past like 200 years ?

"This".... he switched from using the language of 'this is a person' to the language of "this is an object".

He's becoming desensitized in fast order. Which... ironically, I wonder if the man in the black robes wants that.

@Metasepia, I see. My reading comprehension isn't actually the best so there might be a few important things that I'm missing in this arc. I guess I'll wait until this arc ends to fully enjoy this arc.

What Bon is worried about is essentially this:

If everyone can be respawned, does this that not decrease the value of life? Then what happens if Fushi starts treating people the same way he does the grass he steps on? Oh it broke, too bad, guess I'll have to make a new one. Bon wants Fushi to not turn out like that. Additionally, what about the people being revived? Notice that the three are now fairly unhinged. That's also what Bon meant when he 'chose' them. They can't be what they were anymore because now killing themselves just because they don't want to walk to some place? That would happen to everyone if Fushi revived everyone. Same with laws and such. They're all based on the idea that you have the one life and that you want to value it by doing good things. If it doesn't matter even if you die, suddenly no one is going to care about anything except maybe base desires and then you have a global population of suicidal sociopaths. Potentially battle junkies who fight to the death. That's what Bon wants to avoid. He's playing the 'bad' guy so that that doesn't happen. Try to look a little deeper than 'oh he's not doing what the main character wants, definitely bad guy.'

Inevitably yes it also benefits him but if that was all he cared about he wouldn't have stayed at the trial you know. He didn't actually think he would be saved then.
