@talltales : Easy. Some of her descendants had multiple kids. But only the eldest daughter inherited the knocker and the leadership. Kahak was the only child of the previous leader, and a male at that... but after he died (along with the knocker), leadership of the clan most likely reverted to an Aunt or Niece... possibly a generation or two removed.

@Sem : Since the story has mostly vacillated between alright and bullshit so far, I'd imagine it is going downhill again.
