To Your Eternity

To: greyhud90, I'm totally with you! What was that dumb scenario?! In the previous chapter he definitely recognized her and now he's totally clueless. I believe all those years he spent as a fish did some damage to his brain))
Such a shame, this story was quite captivating in the beginning but now it seems like the author is struggling with the plot.

Guys, it was an error by the author in a single speech bubble that got past the editor. He's clarified on Twitter he's not supposed to have known the woman's identity until after she died.

@AbuHajaar That makes sense, but it's still a shame. I was kind of hoping it was a TL mistake rather than actual mistake in the manga itself. It's just kind of poor QC in general in an otherwise mostly non-plothole filled story. That said, I still have no sympathy for her at all since most of that ordeal was because of her to begin with.

Sigh. Pyoran's death was better handled imo and it helped a lot that we were shown her last moments w Fushi rather than the "whoops im dead!" Scenario we got w Tonari.

She did redeem herself, so It's a shame she stayed as a plot device rather than a solid character.

I want the prince and fushi to become best buds and make kahaku show his true colors!

Great chapter. I didn't expect the new prince will be interesting chapter. Time for me to wait the next chapter.

Almost forgot, Thanks for the scanlation.

Wow, this suddenly went from "kinda-sorta starting to like the prince dude" to "well, now THAT'S interesting".

Woooo volume 7 already released
Background = spirit bear
Red hand = Gugu
Blue = Tonari
Yellow = March

Plastic doll, wut?..

Also, suddenly a OP skill. That...would have made the story play out quite differently had Fushi known about it earlier. Not that he knows of it now either...

I really enjoy this Manga so far, but my biggest gripe with the current arc
is Fushi's indifference to Hayase's descendants. The Knockers have caused him so much pain by making his life a living nightmare and took many of his loved ones and yet he has no problem with the Defense Corp following him. Hayase took March and Parona. The Knockers took Gugu and the three friends of Tonari. And later he meets Hayase's granddaughter Hisame with a Knocker in her arm who vehemently opposes to remove it even when Fushi wishes for it. And lo and behold Tonari dies by Hisame's hands when she tried to protect Fushi from them. Hayase's decendants continue to pester Fushi and he's somehow okay with it. It just baffles me how Fushi is fine with the dubious Defense Corp. There should've been a big confrontation between Fushi and Hisame about their motives ever since Tonari's death, but no, we continue the story without ever addressing this jarring break in Fushi's character. The prince is a whole different matter altogether, but I'm not fond of him either.
