Toaru Ossan no VRMMO Katsudouki - Vol. 4 Ch. 29

What a way to overreact and be an asshole to the Fairy Queen.
For someone that's supposed to be a "old man" the MC is being rather childish. Despite constantly saying he didn't want to be bothered, It was his decisions that lead him to be entangled on every troublesome situation he came across, he was the one who decided to play along when he could've just declined and walked away, and he did all of that just so he could feel good about himself. :x
And now, out of nowhere, after so many things happened, without even knowing the full story, he decides to throw a tantrum? LOL
Good job, author. :u

From what I recall of the LN, Earth actually does understand that he's brought everything upon himself. In terms of his "tantrum," I think it was a matter of a poor translation from novel into manga. In the LN, it was more like being made wanted was the "final straw" that led him to demand the removal of the ring, and the discussion with the dragon lasted longer (which better established why Earth picked a fight). Overall though, it's unwritten both in the manga and the LN, but Earth seems like the kind of guy who claims to not want to stand out, but at the same time strives to prove himself. It's the paradox where you don't want attention, but still want to have achievements (more as a matter of personal pride). The LN TL I read was in first person, so assuming the Japanese version is the same you have to factor in the "unreliable narrator" part of things.

hes an actual incel for that opening page, I dont get why alot of MCs act like incels.

AFTER READING THE CHAPTER, WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THE WRITING??! The mc is just all over the place it feels like hes just a plot device and not a character in this chapter. . .

Lol everyone has a breaking point. It might be the last straw for him. He also didn't like that the dragon is looking down on him. I like this chapter. Making someone a wanted person is also fucked up.
