@Wolvenworks What is DW6? I've never heard of it. KT skipped 6 and went from 5 straight to 7. :^)

But yeah, Koei is still trying to replicate the old DW formula and just... tacked on the open world setting. Might've been rushed, who knows. Not ready to give up on them yet, though - DW8 (base, XL and Empires) were all actually pretty good, which means they still have the capabilities, but like you said, it looks like it'll be a challenge for them to modernize the game

@TehSDragon DW9 does seem like a rushjob. like, so rushed it was super buggy back then. and clearly they didn't test the new combat mechanics with fans
