It was pretty important in the second and third village to just get the approval of the inn ladies and now we get a palace-like inn, he gets a super important seal (of approval) and doesn't even get to stay at the inn or meet the innkeeper. Well, the inn's gatekeepers are in for trouble, but than again, if you would be a gatekeeper and your colleague got into some major trouble for letting in someone who forged a permission, than you would be also be on alert. The problem is, that they judged on their own, without even "troubling" the inn keeper. So either those gatekeepers are incredible stupid and wanted to shine, by being "capable" of sound judgment, or the inn keeper is a tyrant boss, not to be bothered at all, because you cannot win, no matter what you do as his/her employee.
Either way the management either hired the wrong people or miss managed them. Is it so hard to tell your employees, no matter what, when in doubt show the seal to me. ALWAYS! A simple order, that hasn't been given, from the looks of it. So what ever trouble befalls the inn as a whole, it is well earned.
