@VX That actually depends, having a high command on the front lines will bolster the troops and also let them be able to direct the army's strength easier. Read this up:

In this case, the effect on their morale could go either way after losing him, too. The troops might fight more fervently since their pope was martyred, as it were.
@Scrwd You could also apply the spoiler tag to the image, if you'd like, instead of swapping to just a link like that. It's pretty effective for saving space but also keeps the image right here.
