But I dont think he's really too-crazy like how the female lead describes him.

Seriously though, if my childhood friend got a GF who talks to me like " third party / boyfriend-stealer", I'd just tell that childhood friend straight up to his face about the behavior problems with GF and how it can affect everyone around him. But that's just me.
He could be one of those people who is trying to make her "jealous" or admit she has feelings for him. Type of scheme.
