Go and read the other version guys , it explains things a lot more better and it has some good drama in it , this one feels like the manga got axed (not trying to diss it) and there's not enough reason for nekozaki low self esteem and the other girls relationships are explained better

iirc this version didn't really get axed, but author decided to end it because of changes in the magazine (i think the magazine went full porn or more ero content lol)

@Elma_ I think a terrible home life is a good *enough* reason to have low self-esteem (if your parents aren't giving you the time of day, who does care about you?) but the second version has a *better* reason if it gets explained properly (the setup is a doozy).

Lifted my old comment elsewhere, for everyone who wonders why this story was cut short: "Todo no Tsumari no Uchouten" was published in the magazine Young Comic, which switched to accommodating more 18+ contents, so Arata Iri decided to stop putting this cute story there, but couldn't get a publishing deal for continuation elsewhere, so it got cut short. A few years down the line, Arata Iri decided to reboot it altogether, with a more dramatic storyline, thus "Come Rain or Shine" was born and currently being published in Dengeki Daioh.
