Tokedase! Mizore-chan - Vol. 3 Ch. 21

Her head survived under that blazing sun, but her body couldn't live up to the sunlight from the window I see.....

I wonder if this manga will have neverending summer vacation like phineas & ferb

Mizore's inner dialogue on page 5 is a reference to a Japanese fairy tale. It it, an old couple saves a crane that then comes back to them disguised as a young woman. The old couple adopt the crane/woman, and each night she weaves a beautiful cloth for them to sell. However, she insists to do this behind closed doors (as Himari here), as when the old couple finally opens the door to see her weaving, she is revealed as a crane and has to leave, never to return.

@JigokuShounen Green house effect, pretty much. There may have been enough air flow outside to keep the head from fully melting, while inside, with the heat pouring in through the glass and having no way to escape, melted the body.

Or maybe the head just has more willpower to stay together.

Or it's just rule of funny.

I can't wait to see how the mother will deal with the snowperson.

I hesitate to imagine what kinds of appeals the author will give Himari's mom.
