Man, the adults in this manga are...*wipes sweat from forehead* something else. I think it's pretty fucking interesting that everyone has different weaknesses, and Rin, of course, got the worst one. Being Rin is suffering for sure, she just wanted a bank card and got the police called on her.
I LOVE how much she actually loves her little sister, too. She knew that some bullshit was coming after she took that card but took it anyways. Then, Diana, bless her little heart, had some baked goods to deliver as well!? AND THEN Rin angrily ate them all so they didn't go to waste?!?!?!?!? Fucking great chapter, just amazing.

So, Rin is someone with an impediment that makes life harsher than it should be, yet she's doing her best to be independent from her parents, who, in turn, refuse to acknowledge her efforts when it bothers them, but once the guilt sinks in, they fall all the way tot he other side of the scale and provide everything for Rin despite her will.

No wonder she befriended the kids and Mizore, they treat her as a normal person (as normal as a vampire or a yuki onna can be) instead of a handicapped tool.
