Mangaka saw how popular his emotional moments are and started to squeeze every chapter dry for it. Literally every arc before this made me cry at important points, this one is pathetic.

Izana's characterization is too bipolar, one moment he's a stone cold psychopath, the other he's a caring guy? Missed opportunity.

Ultimately I feel that Izana and Tenjiku in general killed the hype a lot.
