@GeistBuster Yes there was, do you not remember what happened to Keira? He mentioned a while back when he was talking about the relics which anyone can use but have a set durability and the relics which only one person can use but the user can draw out seemingly unlimited power. There was bound to be a price to pay for that power, just like how sociability slowly poisons the host.
