Tomo-chan wa Onna no ko! - Vol. 8 Ch. 886 - There Isn't

@ForcedFun You'll need to keep checking your favourite hentai site for such a crossover yuri doujin. I have no idea how common random crossover doujin are, though. However, since this series doesn't have an anime, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Something else that's weird about Japanese Christmas to me is the fact that apparently their traditional festive food is...fried chicken?

@Psychronia yep primarily because KFC ran an absolutely huge campaign promoting their food as festive food and well it worked to the point where fried chicken is practically synonymous with Christmas and to get yourself a nice bucket of chicken on Christmas sometimes you gotta get on a wait list weeks in advance

I feel like Jin somehow will drag Tanabe for a double date, of course that will include Misuzu

Why do I get the feeling that IF Jun and Tomo had sex, it would devolve into a competition to see who could make the other cum first.

reposting for the sake of knowledge
I just gonna leave this here, it's kinda relevant to Japan Christmas vs American Christmas

Christmas in japan is treated like Valentine 2.0 and not a religious holy day (remember Japan is mostly Buddhis).

A wisp of support for the Japanese concept of Christmas dating: One of the most romantic dates I remember from middle school was going to a midnight Christmas Eve service with my girlfriend and her family.

(That was in America, nearly 50 years ago?)

People will celebrate anything.
In Israel, you'd see Jewish non-Russians celebrate Novygod (Russian new-years).
Why? Because parties, fireworks, sex and alcohol. If there's already an occasion going around, why wouldn't you take advantage of it? (if you can, that is)

Xmas is no different.
Also, this is a side-rant,
I always found it perplexing that people would ever outwardly be so bitter about "being alone on xmas / valentines". Anime exaggerates it so much...After so many years of consuming it I can't say I ever developed a liking to that silly, over the top crap. I have never seen anyone go: "God damn it! Why can't I find a girlfriend! On xmas! Oh nooo! Aaagghh! I am so alone!"
Even a milder degree of that sentiment was practically non-existent. It's like "panicking that you're going to graduate out of highschool". It's only scary when you get into the 9th grade, but by the end of your 12th year? Nobody even thinks about it.
INB4 someone provides a precise counter-example from personal experience.
It's just god dang not funny, and the worst thing about this comical-trope is that most characters who want "a date" are hopeless "nerds" who don't even try to talk to women. That's like wanting to get rich without even trying to land a basic job, such a character only end up being an annoyance in the story. And yet, it's so popular of a trope.

@Psychronia It is not tradition though since Christmas is a Western holiday. There are a lot of Japanese don't celebrate it. The people celebrate it are mostly young people.
