He was never dense though, we had a literal arc (and a bunch of hints before it) that showed that he was well aware of Tomo being a girl and all, but intentionally ignored her because he was afraid that anything else would risk their existing relationship, which he was fond of.

Aaand this is what this stupid sniping rivalry with /a/nonymous has led to. One of the panels is not even redrawn properly, with a "V2" version being promised for tomorrow. I'm not in this much of a hurry dammit, heck, I would be okay with all pages coming a day late - just please don't compromise quality for speed!

EDIT: Also, if any mod is reading this: the /a/nonymous guys seem to be clearly taunting Dropout here - does Mangadex really want to facilitate such behavior? To me, this present situation clearly seems to be in bad taste.

And that is absolutely understandable. My main lament is that in a better situation, the release would simply be delayed, or we would not even notice because the releases are by default delayed to make sure real life issues can be handled should they arise.
Instead, we have people complaining how groups like Helvetica Scans even "dare" to have a buffer for a daily series like Mousou Telepathy, and people sniping daily series left and right because why not, starting something of a scanlation arms race. A sad state of affairs, in my opinion, but unfortunately Mangadex seems to have no rules to discourage such behavior.
