Tomo-chan wa Onna no ko! - Vol. 8 Ch. 930 - Terrifying Boy

I would have been, simultaneously, happy and disappointed, in equal parts, had that worked.

I often see a Japanese phrase translated to “as expected” where instead “naturally” or “of course” would be better.

There's no such thing as fighting dirty against this guy. This was a good start, but an Akemi distraction would've been more effective. Harder to prepare, but Misuzu's mother to disturb him psychologically too; just a recording will do.

Also, you need to start this fight during the beginning of the weekend in the middle of evening just before dinner, after a big meal and long afternoon nap so sleep deprivation and energy reserves are on your side for the long-haul. You can have Akemi bring a bento for him just to further distract him and give him a separate hurdle to worry about, but the food should be laced with laxatives.

Also, also, I don't see any brass knuckles or combat vests, boy.

Well, it's fine. We all make mistakes. You can just try again if this attempt fails. He'll just be a little more on-guard next time, so make this a clean challenge with false honor to throw off expectations.

@KuroAntsatsu Considering his reputation, I wouldn't be surprised if this guy is more vulnerable when he's busy concentrating during meditation than when he's asleep.

@Psychronia You know, when I see comments like yours here, it's in those times that I deeply wish we had a "thumbs up" button for comments on this site.
Oh, and I really hope he'll make use of Akemi as a distraction. It'd be awesome.

so it doesn't have to be a fist fight.
Jun just has to win a game against Tomo's dad ... what about a card's game or a console's ?

That works, at least it won't be 60 pages of nothing really happening. Now, PUNCH HIS LIGHTS OUT JUN!!!

I picked up this manga with the expectation that i would drop it within the first few chapters. My thought process was something along the lines of "If you've read one slice of life school romance you have ready them all." To my pleasant surprise this was not the case. With one page per chapter and near daily releases, this manga is low cost high reward read. Not long after finding this manga it quickly became part of may daily routine to the point found myself struggling to maintain my normal rhythm when stopped releasing for a week.

Story Overall: 7/10
Mystery: 6/10
Thrill: N/A
Uniqueness: 10/10

@Pussygaming

I have seen you write reviews for a bit. I think it would be the best if you put those reviews in manga comment sections, instead of chapter comment sections like this.

I've really got no sympathy for the dad in this situation, so go Jun, take him out with a headbutt or something and give us the romance we deserve already! XD
