Tbh I would just try to shoulder all the debt because there are obvious problems with the game. Like why should I just trust the kidnapper? They could be straight up lying (tho it doesn't seem to be the case in this manga). Also, how can the debt affect me in the real world? They forced me into a game without my consent, I didn't say I was ok to join. That is, unless they somehow implement the debt as part of the game, somehow affecting their survival. I'm prob overanalyzing

@Selenaraft The last place penalty. It was literally addressed not only in theory, but also the characters dialogue. If she made it obvious she had double debt, she would become a target. Continuing to talk would make it obvious her debt was doubled, so to pretend she still had the starting debt, she had to be quiet. And if you mean at the very end of the game, admit she had hid the doubling of her debt, it would make her look like a bitch who doubted her friends, and she would have less persuasive power in the group, which is bad for the person called the "leader" of the group to have.
