I'm feeling like this is a bluff.
I believe one of the winning factors if you're not good with gambling is bluffing. Plus, I feel like the old guy has a microchip in his head where he can receive/send information and that can be counted as cheating. LEL

It's definitely out of Yuuichi's character to be trust Kokorogi not to betray him. I mean, this is the same crazy guy who almost cut someone's fingers off and also make Kokorogi strip to blackmail their teacher. And the face he showed in the end, well, it's definitely the "keikaku doori" moment.

It's good the first few times but the author should make him struggle more and find other ways to construct the twists.
