@justforthelulz Well, depends on the size of the melon. You can pretty much go with 1 cup of cubed melon equals 1 serving. So, I would guess 3-4 for 1/2 melon if you are talking cantaloupe/honeydew size.

I kind of figured there was a bit of a crush going between Muu-chan and crow-bro. It's pretty cute. Dunno how youkai age gap stuff works in this world, though. There are half-human children in the school chapters, so it does happen. Maybe when she grows up it'd be possible?

This manga, man.. it's so cute and heartwarming and thoughtful. I just wish the chapters were a touch longer.

Young children usually have a crush on older adults and that will be gone as they grow up. The important thing is it is hard for the other party to see someone took care of from a young age as a love interest. I feel like Jirou only sees her as a niece or younger sister.

@bitfarb It isn't cute in my opinion. If he returned her feeling even when she is grow up, it would be really disturbing. He has been taking care of her since she was a child. It would be child grooming. If he met her when she was a full-grown adult, things would be different.

My personal interpretation was that she is confusing parental love (that's the word, right?) for... romantic love? And as far as I'm concerned romantic love is far too complex for a third grader to comprehend, even for some adults given how many songs there are asking exactly what love is.

@Lithe If it's a decision, it's a decision on my part. The chapters are all already released, but I've decided that three chapters (or something around that) strikes a good balance between what I can personally manage within a release "period" (which varies based on a mix of scheduling, motivation, and struggling to comprehend the Japanese language... but mostly motivation) and what, as a reader, constitutes enough content worthy of an update.

I will admit, more mature groups or other solo scanlators that have an actual grasp on the Japanese language would likely be done with this volume a week's time, but for now you'll have to deal with a neophyte Japanese language learner's translation and typesetting.

@red_bean_casserole Lol it sounds like you're responding to scrutiny, but that's not exactly what my post meant (I know it was very brief and poorly worded so I apologize).

I meant that you could upload them one at a time, but with the way this story is told by 'jumping' between conflicts with such short chapters practically warrants batch-uploading per 'interval'. I thought your uploads were fine as is (batch or not), but I would know far less than you on how it's going.
If it wasn't clear by now, your work is greatly appreciated.
