Tonari wa Nani o Kuu Hito zo - Horoyoi - Vol. 3 Ch. 17

Ah, I love this series so much. It’s such a mood lifter. Thank you for sharing!!

Snitch sounds like a chinese rip-off of the Switch that doesn't even tries to hide the fact that it's full of spyware :D

...'non melting type cheese'....? Also what kind of microwave would you ever put a *baking sheet* in? Size aside, those are metal.

Well, that aside I kind of get the idea of the chip- they make paleo snacks a little like this, after all.

thank you for the chapter ❤
now I wonder what's gonna happen if cabbage roll wins, well we got a little something today 😂😂

@friendly
I was also wondering about what kind of cheese they used?
Baking sheet in this case probably refers to the kind of paper (parchment?) that you line baking sheets with to make it easier to lift off the cookies or whatnot, and to clean.

@friendly @SveNo hello, PR of the series here! So I had the same questions when going through the lines and did some googling. The translation basically says non-melting cheese lol but it's probably cheese with a lower moisture content which could be cheddar. Based on that and the image in the manga I assumed it was just processed sliced cheese but I left it as that because I don't know enough about cheese to be specific.

About microwaves, it's common to use microwave ovens, that is a microwave and an oven in one appliance that is just the size of a microwave, in Japan. Even my home in Singapore has one. In this video from Rachel and Jun on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIIsZrbo4qQ, Rachel bakes banana bread in their microwave oven. I agree it was odd that they (the manga) put metal in the microwave but google says baking pans are generally made from a material that is safe to use in the microwave.

As for baking sheets, I assumed it was just another term for parchment paper? I apologize if they're two different things. They basically just need something that is non-stick to line the bottom of the pan with so the cheese doesn't stick to the pan.

@cokelemon that makes sense! There are cheeses that spread out a lot less then others... maybe something like a Munster cheese would work too. And I appreciate the explanation about microwave ovens- that actually sounds really convenient! Having both a toaster oven and a microwave takes up a lot of space, after all. Thank you for clearing that up! I always enjoy getting to learn about these kinds of differences.

You can get Baking Sheets in america! They're like pre-cut things of parchment paper, that are cut to a standard size.
