@Kingdo nah he doesn't mean other people don't bathe, it's just bathing is a huge part of the culture. Public communal baths, hot springs and skin-ship are of great significance in Japanese culture. So in other words not "bathing" and enjoying himself thoroughly in the act of bathing removes a huge aspect of what makes him Japanese.

Like how he react to gore or such, there's nothing stats can help with (unless we're looking at some kind of emotion suppression effect like in Overlord or Kumoko)

@Kingdo: I think it's more of stereotype that Japanese take bathing , or rather soaking in bathtub, to a religious level.

@Kingdo Tall people have to devote ridiculous amounts of floor space and water to a tub big enough to submerge fully in without doing a human pretzel impression, but a shower is easy.
