Ok, I love that Hata-sensei is self-aware here, but this chapter blows what I said a few chapters ago about the two being able to talk things out easily out of the water. The whole array of tropes being thrown at me is affecting the success of this relationship, but it’s not like I’m complaining. I don’t actually mind tropes as much as other people do
