I think that depends on you. If you're the procrastinating type, then accepting that advice is a bad idea. But if you're the diligent type, sure. But I do agree with what the teacher said. He should get back to studying or something. You earned that money because you had a goal of meeting Tsukasa. Now that that goal has been achieved, you should get back to it. Having one more person to feed will cost you.

I've tried this strategy before in the past. Future Me has always cussed out Past Me for procrastinating too hard and then facing the consequences, often not great ones.
