Sauna is a place of bliss and relaxation, not a challenge, but otherwise this chapter got everything correct about the sauna.
 
@superdoofus if you mean the ring on their fingers, no. It is constantly in contact with your body and removing the excess heat that way. It doesn't even feel uncomfortable. A metal necklace could kind of sting you, if you first lean forward so it's essentially hanging on air and then lean back, but I've never heard anyone get a burn from that either.
The bigger danger is, if your ring has a stone in it, as those might not take so kindly to the high heat and humidity and get messed up.
 
I always thought saunas were a kind of self-inflicted torture, thanks for validating my intention of never getting into one.
 
Dry saunas are amazing, only the wet ones (steam rooms) are really torturous. That shit will literally cook you alive even at 50°C.
 
I cant stand the dry heat of a sauna but I can stay in a steam room for agggggeesssssss feels great.

O n the chapter was as fluffy as expected.
