Torako! Don't Break Everything! - Vol. 1 Ch. 10 - The 100 Yen Coin and The 500 Yen Coin

It gets dumber and dumber! Awesome!

And srsly what’s she eating that looks like a used condom?

Because completed in Japan and completely translated and thrown up here are two very different things.

Dammit, I was really enjoying this one too. The fact that it would've probably gone on if the magazine hadn't gone under makes it even worse.

Well, at least there seems to be 10 or so more chapters to go ;_;

They're going to wind up being proper people by osmosis via being responsible for Torako.

@D-Grayman @komyou @DexHaunter as said @CptBst being completed in Japan is what makes the tag on Dex "Completed".
It doesn't mean the manga has been fully translated by scanlation teams, hence why we're missing chapters here. Only that the official publishing has ended.
I guess it ends with Vol.02 tho, I couldn't find raws past that (and I can't read Japanese so I have no idea about the author's notes or whatever).

@Tray I'm pretty sure the tonal shift happened the chapter after the author was told that the magazine was cancelled and he needed to wrap things up quick. :(

@Shyning The story does end with chapter 20. The author's note mentions that he's got something in the June issue of the main Young Animal magazine, but a perusal of the list of chapters on the website says it's not Torako, and it doesn't repeat in the July issue so it's either a oneshot or a pilot chapter of a new story.

@Shyning Oh no, I totally get that. The issue I was having was that it still has "ongoing" on MangaUpdates and if something's axed/on hiatus/completed on Japan, the information is also updated there. But @Alhazred23 solved that for me.

@DexHaunter I see, missed the point ^^
@Alhazred23 well, time will tell but since you seem to have checked, I guess it did end with the magazine altogether, which is quite sad.
Do authors have to drop their series if the magazine they publish it in closes ? Can't they ask another one to take over ?

@Shyning Some of the stories in the cancelled YA Arashi will continue in the regular YA magazine. It's also not totally unheard of for a story to jump to an entirely different publisher, but I don't think that's common, and this one probably isn't enough of a proven success to shop around like that.
