The stated reason for dropping Bug Player was not having enough resources to go to war with Edelgarde without jeopardizing their other projects. They had negotiations with Edelgarde but that fell through for unstated reasons.

Actually thats how it is, usually there is no fight, but for popular series the bigger groups always snipes from the smaller group!! Take any popular series -- Solo levelling, Returners magic etc.. All of them belongs to big groups who takes Donations. Thats how it works!!

I've also like similiar premise World Is Full of Monsters Now, Therefore I Want to Live As I Wish But those group rarely update, even not updating almost 4 months.

@shubh68 while most of the time you are correct, alot of the bigger groups minus like JB don't snipe and in my experience are actually pretty good groups, it just so happens that big groups can also take on more projects increasing their chance of getting a good series, solo levelling was originally tled by Merkai until they got a dmca when JB picked it up. Also for the record we also take donations...

Edit: Nevermind, I'm a dumbass. It's clearly written in the credits of the last chapter. Looking forward to it!
