We know she isn't weak yet she needs rescuing from the MLs (this is already the 2nd ML that came to her "rescue") hmmm I'll give it one more shot just cuz of the art and the tiny hope I have that the plot will get better

I don't really see it as "rescuing" her. Instead of the cliche ML brandishing his power and authority to rescue the damsel-in-distress MC, Count Wilkins was practically bragging about Clarence's achievements in the battlefield.

well guess what, she probably doesn't want to go back, why do you think she left in the first place???? i understand that she has potential greatness, but it's her choice. plus, not gonna lie, she could have handled it herself, if she can battle in a war and survive, i think she can deal with an unruly noble, along with the fact she has the duke's support

Definitely don't think she was rescued here. She totally could have taken him, but it was super awesome to have someone else come in and verify her status, and to tell him his noble title has been annulled.

Even capable heroines need backup.

This is getting crap. Yes, Karl Barrow is clearly trying to abuse his powers. So the solution is for Clarence and her side to abuse their powers? It is still completely true that Clive assaulted him and tried to choke him. Good thing she has even more powerful friends! As long as that's the case, everything she does is great and awesome.
