Truthfully, They Only Remembered Her - Ch. 4

So far, I like the plot of her trying to forgive herself. Hopefully, the author focus on that at the same time, put a little bit of the romance. It'll be cute!

When Clarence calls herself a sinner for killing people, it just makes me think...the priest is there. The church or whatever religious institution this country has probably endorsed the war. If she’s a sinner, they’re sinners too. The “thou shall not kill” sentiment she has is usually applied to killing individuals, not killing on a mass scale in war, for whatever reason. The men in her life don’t seem to feel the same guilt she does either, and they all actively participated in the war.
 
I think she was selfish not to talked the land and title. She could have passed it all to her brother who would now be a noble. Sigh
