I hope the story recenters itself kazuya, his family and kiriha, they are some of the best characters in the manga and honestly the tsukumogami harem is a bit boring with the exception of kyoko.
My personal theory is that Kazuya will let Azami and his mother kill him therefore dissipating the Amasogi that is possessing them (as one of the ways to do so is fulfilling the "desire" that created them).
@tadrow We are currently going through an arc where the characters are attempting to resurrect their dead friend. I think they will kill him, not that he will stay dead.
