Tsukarekitta Onna ga Shinuhodo Iyasareru Tame ni - Vol. 1 Ch. 6 - Showdown!! Editor vs. Stalker!?

I enjoy the character Nagi and I like this series but it does seem a bit hypocritical for a stalker/superfan to lecture her "owner's" editor on the proper conduct for engaging with Chi, especially since that earlier tea scene seems highly suspect.

Guess my Nagi dated the editor theory is out the window. But I can't help but feel Nagi is definitely hiding something.

She might own the publishing company.

I kinda like that the alcohol thing is pointed out; mangas aren't very reliable about pointing out crappy behavior. But as has been said it's a tiny bit hypocritical when it's coming from a stalker ...

If he didn't get her drunk that meeting would be all for nought since she would just be too anxious and scared to say anything. The dude handled all of that perfectly and this chapter made me think that Nagi is a bitch.

I like yuri stuff but after seeing this chapter I feel like I'd want the editor to be with the MC instead...

Editor is cool and all but Yuri route at it finest
Also black card = rich AF

Getting someone you like to get drunk to learn about them is just not the way to do it and shows that you guys aren’t even that close to begin with. It’s like if I gave my friends truth serum and asked them how they think about me and if they liked me. Plus it looks like rather than trying to get to know her normally by hanging out as friends, he uses his job instead as a excuse to visit her and get her drunk but I have no idea of knowing fully.

especially since that earlier tea scene seems highly suspect.

Some teas are actually known for their calming effects or even as sleep aids. Like chamomile for instance. Chi specifically called the tea she drank calming. She was tricked into drinking a perfectly healthy tea people drink every day to relax with, and because she was in fact at her limit it put her out like a light for a refreshing nap. I'm pretty sure that's all that happened there.

Honestly, it's an interesting question as to whether and to what extent it's unethical for an editor to pressure an author to get drunk if the purpose is intended in good faith to get creative juices flowing.

Not so with the romance side of things, of course. That's pretty black-and-white. I mean, one has to be pretty careful about pursuing workplace romances in the first place, too. The guy's definitely in deeply questionable territory. Many worse beginnings have been made into healthy relationships, but...

Speaking of which, back to our main characters. uwu

Black card ... now I know how she can afford to be a pet and why she wants to be a pet, it is pretty usual for rich and or powerful people to want to be submissive when their position in life if overbearingly strong or advantageous.
