Everybody complaining obviously hasn’t read other manga. Yeah they talk a little too much, but that’s normal the mangaka just wants to make sure to include the dialogue. The mc barely taking of his rings is a little slow of him but he did get a good chunk of his hand cut off so I think he has some leeway there. He’s honestly taking the initiative faster than other protags I’ve seen in this genre. If the pacing chapter by chapter is too slow, then don’t read it as soon as a chapter comes out. Have some restraint and wait for a good amount of chapters to be out. No one is forcing you to read the new chapter

@Capt_Gigglepants That isn't the Goddess' blessing, she just imparts a Power on all the hyuman children that are presented at her temples, so long as they aren't ugly, she hasn't even done that in ten years. Blessings are like the regeneration power she gave Grittonia's hero, or the strength boost all the Hyuuman armies had at the start of battle. The difference is that a blessing is still maintained externally, the Power becomes a part of the person.

The demons might, and they probably do later, but Sofia doesn't care either way. She just wants a fight. Nothing he said would have stopped her attack, and surviving this long is just making her want to chop him up more.
