Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu - Vol. 5 Ch. 34 - Special Dimension Rankings!

So just to be sure, are you guys keeping "Asora" as "Special Dimension"? Or just that nobody noticed that's read as Asora.

I'm starting not to trust Tomoe... I don't think she'll right out betray him, but it'll probably be a "it's for your own good" moment. Someone dies and the MC won't be able to trust her anymore.

Now, I haven't read the LN, so if I'm wrong I welcome being told so.

I read Asora or A-Sora (亜空) with the kanj of sub+sky, as simply "subspace". No clue why it wasn't just translated to subspace, but I guess "Asora" just sounds better as a name, if left as it is. Probably also gets redundant when they are referring to the alternate space as a special dimension.

@Amaterasu93
Well, she's already keeping the Rembrandt conspiracy/history of assassinations a secret from him for his own good, so I wouldn't doubt it.

@Harry_Dong: To my understanding 空 is 'empty', actual space with room to exist would be 間, and the official term for subspace is 亜空間

And in the future it's detailed that Asora exist more like another world entirely rather than a subspace of one, which give it more reason to have proper name and not just a translated title.
I ended up venting the one time this idiot MTL group translated a person's name as Beautiful Prince, failing to get that it's a name, or that he's got a furigana for how to read his name already.
(and after I pointed it out, they do it again the very next chapter)

Tomatoes are fruits though, not vegetables (even if they're used/eaten as such).

The answer to the question is that a tomato is technically the fruit of the tomato plant, but it's used as a vegetable in cooking. And besides, the japanese text had it as 野菜 which is technically vegetable in english.

@WhimsiCat
I see. That makes sense. I wonder if Asora will get big enough to literally be an entirely new planet, where you can go in one direction and continue until you eventually loop back to where you started.

And yeah, stubborn people will continue to be stubborn. Gordon Ramsey would call them a fucking donkey for not listening, lol.

Can anybody that reads novel tell me if Mc fucks any of the girls in the future? With isekai not shying away from actual physical relationships (onscreen or offscreen) this seems to be meh atm

It's only been a few weeks since the story started? I haven't re-read previous chapters in awhile, but wasn't Tomoe's 'samurai journey' or whatever like months long? Maybe I'm remembering wrong.

@kronix You're here again? I've been seeing you in every kind of manga out here in mangadex. Not that I'm saying you're not welcome or whatnot but if you want to see a fucking, Hentai would be better right? What kind of question is that? This is a manga adaptation of a light novel. Of course there wouldn't be anything that would come with what you're hoping for. Go search for a hentai online or porn or whatever. Well, I guess I'm feeding a troll with this though.

@Amaterasu93 Well Tomoe's objectives is a little bit on the side of her possessiveness of Makoto. All of the things she has done so far is for the good of Makoto. Keeping Rembrandt's secret but keeping an eye of him are all signs of in keeping in mind of Makoto's well - being. Remember, she is in a master - servant contract with Makoto and with that kind of contract, betrayal is nonexistent even if she is a Superior Dragon.

If anything, she wanted Toa to be independent as to keep her away from Makoto and his lingering feelings to his old world as Toa have a semblance to his Kouhai. Think of this way, Tomoe and Mio's affection for him goes beyond a Master - Servant relationship and both wanted to be his lover. Even though it wasn't stated thus far or Tomoe herself have stated it, Tomoe does have the same affection as Mio has. So we can assume that Tomoe have some romantic affection to Makoto at this point.

You can say that Tomoe is on the Clingy Jealous Girl trope except that she isn't the type to show it from time to time except for the one time that she had a rivalry/power showdown with Mio on who's helpful for Makoto. With this chapter, she also has some Yandere tendencies shown with her eyes but remove the "killing" part. Nevertheless, Tomoe just do what she thinks is what's good for Makoto.

I'm glad we're moving away from that one detestable hero. I really hate that guy.

@kronix if you are looking for isekai harem with every one wanting to get MCs D go read Parallel Paradise.

@Makoto doesn't let Tomoe romp around his memories Willy nilly. That's about it. It's weird phrasing.

@kronix For what it's worth, nope. How you want to distribute that between the peculiar personality he's developed after the transfer (it becomes a bit of a plot point later), him knowing that they are actually dragon and spider monsters, and just Japanese MC Syndrome is up to you.
