Seems kinda interesting. I think I could come to like this weird sensei.
But what's with the Japanese text left on some of the pages?

@Bainhardt I'm really sorry about that. This is my first time releasing anything, and I got excited and didn't double check the pages before uploading. I reuploaded the chapter just now, so that should be fixed. I might do one more reupload just to add some translation notes (what manga is complete without those? duhuhuh)
As for the series itself, it's pretty short (only two volumes, 11 or so chapters). It's got its high points and low points, but I really came to like Tsurugane himself, so I felt like it'd be a good project.

@Minkulus Hey no problem dude, everybody makes mistakes when they just start out. I usually take 15-30 minutes after finishing a chapter to just not think about it, do something else, and then read it through one last time before uploading. But when that fails, thank god MangaDex has an edit function!
Anyway, surprised to hear this manga is so short when it could probably? have gone the way of Assassination Classroom and drawn everything out.
Seems like a neat read either way, so thanks for picking this up and I look forward to it!

@Bainhardt I honestly haven't finished reading the series yet in Japanese, myself, but I've enjoyed it so far! That's a good suggestion, and I'll definitely keep it in mind next time. As for the length of the manga, it's the mangaka's first work, so I think lasting a whole year in a monthly serialization is pretty decent for a rookie. We can't all be One Piece, after all!

This is an interesting "maverick sensei" series (e.g. GTO, Assassination Classroom, etc) angle. The teacher lools like he ended up walking in from a Showa-era horror manga and decided to turn over a new leaf teaching students as a(n almost) normal citizen.

From the first dozen or so pages I 100% thought this was a spinoff of Warau Salesman - like one of his "clients" finally managed to get back at him, destroying his face and thus he decided to retire and start a new life as a teacher with all the money he previously collected.
